2/19/02 -- Added a Field Bird Gallery with 3 roadrunner images, 2 ring-necked pheasant images and 3 spruce grouse images.
12/09/01 -- Added three images of a Cooper's Hawk to the Hawks and Owl Gallery. Incredibly, this hawk was photographed within about 100 feet of my front door as it devoured a pigeon it had caught and killed.
10/25/01 -- Added Photomigrations, a nature photography site started by my friend Debbie Ferrell-Smith to my favorites. It replaces the Bird's Nest which she ran. Debbie set it up so the group there could escape from MSN's threat to take rights to images on their site.
10/22/01 -- On Saturday, October 27, 2001, Ken Maher Photography will have a booth exhibiting photography for sale at the Historic Irvington Halloween Festival Art and Craft Fair, 5400 to 5700 East Washington Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. I would enjoy seeing any of the web site visitors there. A 10% discount will be given to anyone who mentions that they have seen this notice on the web site. Preparation for that event has slowed additions to the web site. Additions are planned for early November.
10/11/01 -- Added several new links to Favorite Links, including sites to governmental sites with information about public lands, including National Wildlife Refuges, National Forests and National Parks. Also added links to places to purchase equipment and accessories for outdoor and nature photography.
10/07/01 -- Added General Nature Gallery with 14 photos of water, scenic landscapes, natural light, flora and other natural subjects. Over time, this Gallery will probably be divided into sug-galleries.
10/05/01 -- Added Sandhill Crane Gallery with four photos of sandhill cranes.
10/04/01 -- Placed first three links on the Favorite Links page. More to be added later. Joined the NaturePhotographersNet Web Ring and added the web ring navigation bar to the home page. Navigational glitches repaired and thumbnails for Gallery links made clickable.
10/03/01 -- Revised site color scheme.
10/03/01 -- Added one mourning dove photo, two evening grosbeak photos, one pine grosbeak photo and one Florida scrub-jay photo to Small and Medium Bird Gallery.
10/03/01 -- Added three Great Blue Heron photos to Great Blue Heron Gallery (and rearranged photos in the Gallery). Note: with any addition of photos, the gallery may be rearranged, so it may take a little looking to spot the new photos.
10/02/01 -- Added six Bald Eagle photos to Eagle Gallery and opened a new gallery for photos with more than one eagle in the photo. Transfered two photos from the Eagle Gallery and added six new photos to the new Eagles (multiple) Gallery.
10/02/01 -- Added five bighorn sheep photos, two stone sheep photos, two desert sheep photos and two mountain goat photos to Horses, Sheep and Goats Gallery.
